Lend a hand

An evening takes a handful of people and roughly two hours. Most volunteers still catch the whole talk. Tell us what you're willing to do and we'll put you on the rotation, not every month.

• Set up

  Tables, chairs and the bar, 4:30 to 5:45.

• Hospitality

  Greet people at the door and pour at the social hour.

• Nibbles

  Bring or plate hors d'oeuvres. Reimbursed if you shop.

• Child care

  Two adults per evening, ages 1 and up. Safe environment training required.

• Speaker host

  Meet the speaker, handle the mic, keep Q&A moving.

• Clean up

  Stack, wipe and lock up after Q&A, about 45 minutes.
